XG’s first world tour will kick off in May 2024! First stop is Osaka (May 18-19) and Yokohama (May 25-26). Dates are not yet set for the cities of Bangkok, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Manila, and Taipei. There are plans for North America stops on October and then selected European cities by November.
Like I said earlier, that was quick! Two years went by so fast. And in the video below, the girls themselves couldn’t believe they released 8 MVs for 2023 alone! (I’m sure they couldn’t top that this year, as they’ll put their focus on their first ever World Tour. More on that later.) They reviewed the official XG documentary video for their 2023 activities and the plans for the current year.
While waiting for XG to showcase new material, looking back at their previous performances is a natural thing to do. One of my favorites is their cover of 2NE1’s “I Am The Best” which they pulled off so splendidly, They put in their own lyrics and employed their trademark high-octane dance choreography while keeping true to the sound of the original. XG’s magnificent cover took place at the KCON LA 2023 which was held from August 18-20, 2023, at the Los Angeles Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena.

Well, in case you’re new to XG, it would be great to watch this Apple Music interviews from last year. This will bring you up to speed with the girl gang and provide you an inside look at how the XG ladies describe their music and their influences, among other things. Two videos, the first one is a quick walkthrough of their 2023 living arrangements in Tokyo; the second is the Apple Music interview featuring all 7 of them in the studio responding to questions.
